OPTIONS
The OPTIONS Program


Introduction:
Full time day program providing community based opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities within a cohesive group environment. Recreation and leisure based, utilizing both PDACL and community recreation facilities.
Hours of Operation:
8:30a.m.-3:45 p.m. Monday-Friday
Activities:
Bowling, swimming, music, games.
Volunteer and Paid Employment Opportunities:
Delivering meals-on-wheels, newspapers, helping at the Salvation Army & Society of Organized Services (SOS), giving back to the community through the Parksville and Downtown Business Association litter picking contract.
Referrals:
Referrals are made through Community Living British Columbia (CLBC).
Staffing:
TWO Full-time
ONE part-time employees
with a FOUR to ONE client to staff ratio.

These meetings are to meet and discuss issues around caregiving and parenting. Come and share your hopes, dreams and fears with the group in a safe and nurturing environment.
