SELF HELP SKILLS
The SELF HELP SKILLS Program


Providing support on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. Staff work to increase each individual's ability to manage everyday life as independently as possible, and to provide maximum enrichment with support from the community.
Hours of Operation:
8:30 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
Activities:
Social and recreational community based activities such as swimming, visiting the library, mini golf, bowling, etc. Cooking classes are offered on Monday and Wednesday nights for up to 5 indivdiuals. These are open to PDACL participants as well as individuals involved in other CLBC funded programs in the Parksville area.
Referrals:Referrals are made through Community Living British Columbia (CLBC).

ONE full time

These meetings are to meet and discuss issues around caregiving and parenting. Come and share your hopes, dreams and fears with the group in a safe and nurturing environment.
