SEMI-INDEPENDENT LIVING (SILP)

The SEMI INDEPENDENT LIVING Program


Introduction:
The emphasis of this program is to increase independence, support the development of daily life skills, and provide relationship building opportunities. Staff provide a limited amount of service each week, based on the inidvidual needs of the participants. 

Hours of Operation:

8:30 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.

Activities:

Various activities which support participants in learning skills in areas such as banking, budgeting, house cleaning, establishing daily routines, employment, hygiene, social skills, and maintaining one's physical and mental health.

Referrals:

Referrals are made through Community Living British Columbia (CLBC).

Staffing:

TWO full time employees

Music and Motion

PDACL and Nanoose Bay Lions proudly present MUSIC & MOTION! Held monthly (except July, August, October and December) at Nanoose Place Community Centre (2925 Northwest Bay Rd., Nanoose Bay), from 11:30-2:30pm - you are welcome to drop in.

Don't forget to bring your lunch and a Non-perishable food item for the Nanoose Bay Food Bank.
