All committees are either Standing or Ad Hoc. Each committee has Terms of Reference approved by the Board and that are reviewed annually.  The committee may also review its TOR and then propose any changes to the next scheduled meeting of the Board of Directors for consideration of approval. (THE TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR EACH COMMITTEE WILL BE REVIEWED ON JANUARY 11 FOR BOARD APPROVAL).  Each committee has a Chair Person responsible for the activites of that committee.  Committees are newly formed as soon as possible after the close of each Annaual General Meeting.

All committee descriptions, meeting times, contact information is included in the two sub-menus 'Ad Hoc' and 'Standing' under 'PDACL Committees'.  Meeting times and frequency are subject to change based on the project the committee is working on and the availability of the committee members. Each committee will be setting goals that will be added to the descriptions. 

These menu items and articles have been developed by the Board of Directors, Communications Committee in response to the Consultation Report by Warren Helfrich in consideration of the suggestions brought forward by Parents/Caregivers at the follow up meeting held in January 2011.
